Hello there! As scary and uncomfortable as it may be, I’m glad you’re here! My heart is for those who are hurting. It is my calling and passion to strengthen families, one relationship at a time, starting with your relationship with yourself. I approach the therapy room from an authentic, compassionate, and empathetic stance, with attunement, curiosity, and humor. Using an eclectic approach built upon attachment theory, I integrate strategies and interventions from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Experiential Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) trained and incorporate it in my sessions when helpful, especially in addressing traumatic events.
I became a therapist to help people who are in pain. Life is a gift and as beautiful as it can be, it can be equally brutal and disappointing. I believe pain, brokenness, suffering, trauma, and disappointment can be redeemed. I believe as hurt as you have been, a full and thriving life is possible. My focus is helping people who have undergone traumatic events or traumatic seasons of life. I also aim to work with couples and families who are experiencing relational distress.
I specialize in attachment work, Internal Family Systems, as well as EMDR therapy. It is my hope to use these methods to help you discover more about yourself and realize all the amazing gifts you have to offer those around you.
